So much to say, so few pictures to speak for me.

There really is so, so much to say and discuss about the amazing food/culture that thrives here in San Francisco.

Since the birth of this blog, I have ohh-ed over the French toast Josephine at The Red Door Cafe (no website to speak of but great reviews on Yelp) and ahh-ed over the wild mushroom benedict with spinach, caramelized onions, truffle mornay sauce and potatoes at Mission Beach Cafe and  munched A LOT of stuff in-between

Additionally, my refrigerator contains within the answer to all of life's unanswered questions: fixins for milk punch.

Why the delay in posts? I simply cannot take a food photograph that I feel captures what I see when I gaze adoringly/hungrily at all of these amazing dishes that I downright feel lucky to be in the same room with.

So, as I expand my palate and satiate my yearning for yum, I will continue developing my  skills for taking decent photos of food.

New posts are coming.

With photos.

I will look to my friends at Poor Taste Magazine for advice on how to take these photos.

I have some fava beans at home begging to be prepared AND photographed. With a nice chianti, of course.

Oh, and milk punch. Never heard of this beverage before reading about it here.

Can't wait to try it and share the results with you.

The thought of how good this beverage will be consumes me.

I munch, therefore I blog.

Welcome to The Muncher SF [food blog].
I live in San Francisco.
I love to eat.
I can't stop myself from telling everyone who'll listen about each and every even mildly pleasant experience I have with food.

[Thank you, dear friends, who continue to let me share my food memories with you especially if you were around after I tried the panna gelato with extra virgin olive oil & sea salt dessert from the never-disappointing Beretta and couldn't stop talking about it for like, a solid year].

If I LOVE a dish, no one loves it more than me.

Seriously.

So, I am going to write down all my food related thoughts and post them here.

Please enjoy my recipes, [SF restaurant/bestaurant]reviews and ramblings.
